Our focus is instilling hope, inspiration and knowledge in multiple ways to make the cancer healing process less daunting and confusing. Cancer rates are on the rise and there is an incredible amount of conflicting information to sift through. It can become paralyzing to navigate what to believe and which direction to move towards. BOHHH will support people on their healing journey online, in person and wherever they are needed. The possibilities are endless. We will help bring ease to people during a generally scary, confusing and tumultuous time in their lives. We will hold their hands through it all. We will also be offering financial assistance to help them receive the support they need if they can not afford it. Unfortunately so many healing practices are still not covered by insurance and many can not work while going through treatment.
Our volunteers and staff plan to create online videos, podcasts, workshops and ultimately weekend or week long immersions.
We will show people the many different varieties of complementary healing modalities out there that they may not be aware of. Some examples of what resources BOHHH can offer are: different supportive diet plans, lifestyle hacks, alternative healers, positive mindset practices and meditations, breathwork, and yoga that will support them while they are healing cancer. We will do the legwork for their patrons so they can focus all of their attention on the actual healing.
Approximately 95% of the time BOHHH will be focused on bringing these offerings to the people who need these services.
About 5% of the time will be used for fundraising and grant writing.
It is time to do things differently.
Most people that have been touched by cancer want to see changes in how we heal. BOHHH will be that change.
Comprehensive, holistic cancer healing and prevention is in high demand.
We trust there will be many generous individuals and businesses that will want to support our work. We have found there is a high demand for complementary cancer healing support and a one stop shop, so to speak, to find everything in one organized and easy to navigate hub. We believe there are opportunities to partner with companies that make products that support people during their healing like juicers, rebounders, supplements etcetera. Most people have been touched by cancer and want to see changes in how we heal. It is time to do things differently. BOHHH wants to be that change.
About the Founder, Willow Star
In May of 2016, Willow Star was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic Breast cancer at the young age of 46. Her life was instantly flipped upside down. The doctors said she had about two and a half years to live. Willow had no idea where to start, how to navigate the doctors, the medical system and all the options that were out there. She wondered about complementary therapies and if they could work for her. It became a very stressful full time job trying to figure out how to actually heal.
With the help of her community and full time dedication to figuring it all out, Willow found many ways to heal that she had no idea existed. Over the past 7 years Willow has learned so much about cancer healing and saw the need for a centralized healing hub of information and resources that could help others on their cancer healing journey. Seven years later Willow is tumor free and living the best life ever. This was the inspiration for BOHHH.
There is no reason to keep reinventing the wheel. Branches of Hope Healing Haven aims to bring ease and clarity to all who are healing cancer in a fun and supportive way so more people can heal and live their best lives.
